We manufacture two brands of swim fins:
DaFiN
DAFIN fins are the most powerful and comfortable fins in the water today. DaFiN offers high performance in the toughest surf conditions for lifeguards and bodysurfers while being agile enough to give any user a level of safety in the ocean.
Kicks
Kicks fins are versatile, user-friendly fins designed for fun in the ocean, whether it’s bodyboarding, swimming, snorkeling or just playing in the waves. The Kicks fins were designed by legendary Hawaiian bodyboarder Aka Lyman by modifying the DaFiN design into a rounded blade with angled side rails that are perfect for kneeling bodyboarding.
Our fins are made from high quality Malaysian rubber. Malaysia produces 70% of the world’s natural rubber supply and the factory has direct access to the highest quality natural rubber available.
Both DaFiN and Kicks fins are made in Malaysia. The factory specialises in the production of swim fins for many brands and is the largest swim fin manufacturer in the country.
The durometer (hardness) specification for DaFiN is the same for all colours. The manufacturing process is closely monitored with a tolerance of +/- 5% in the hardness specification, which is usually not noticeable to the user. Black fins tend to be slightly stiffer while lighter colours tend to be less stiff. However, it is the design of DaFiN fins and not the stiffness of the blade that gives DaFiN fins their power.

The factory uses a special silicone solution to clean the fins before packing. If the fins seem too slippery right out of the box, before using them, rinse them under a tap with cold water while wiping off the excess silicone solution with your hands. Let the fins air dry. This will reduce the amount of silicone solution on the fins. Do not use a towel or sponge to wipe or dry the fins.
Our fins will last for many years if properly cared for.
– Always rinse your fins thoroughly with fresh water after each use and allow them to air dry in a shaded area.
– Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
– Do not leave the fins exposed to the sun for long periods of time, for example in the back of an open truck or in your car exposed to the sun through the window.
– Do not use chemical cleaners on your fins, especially any petroleum-based products.
– You can clean your fins from time to time to restore the colour using a petroleum-free silicone spray and a soft cloth.
